Belgian pigeons to be used for communication between Berlin and Brussels, May 1945

The May 1-31 1945 War Diary for the 3 Field Force Pigeon Service makes note of these developments:

the order for confinement of civilian pigeons in Belgium is lifted;

the end of the war in Europe is announced;

inspections of German Army pigeon lofts take place;

Belgian pigeons will be trained for use between Berlin and Brussels.
